Are you ready to start the career you've always wanted?
Our 13 week Training for Work programme starts with one-on-one sessions to help identify your skills and goals, work history and personal resources and then we use this information to create a flexible training solution that is designed for you! Your training will include voluntary work, work tasters and work placements so that you have the opportunity to explore whether a job or career is right for you. Our Work Placement Co-ordinator will also work with you to place you into employment and then keeps in touch to make sure you settle into your new job.
Every step of the journey is focused on you gaining employment. We have contacts with over 80 employers throughout Otago and we are here to help you find work.
Employment options include driving and delivery, retail, hospitality, packaging and distribution, factory and process work, traffic management
Employment options include carpenter, bricklayer, joiner, hammer hand, demolition, scaffolder
Employment options include healthcare assistant, community support worker, disability support worker, caregiver, kitchen hand
Employment options include stock manager, farmer, gardener, shepherd, arborist, fencing contractor, farm labourer, orchardist, vineyard worker
Employment options include vehicle servicing & car grooming, collision repair, automotive engineer, mechanical engineer, road transport
